Calumet

Mary L. Zunich, 98, a resident of Cypress Manor and Calumet passed away Monday morning June 25, 2007.

She was born on May 31, 1909 in Calumet a daughter of the late Paul and Lucy (Babich) Shaltz.

She graduated from the Calumet High School with the class of 1927. She later attended Marquette Normal Teachers College.

Mary taught at the Chassell grade school.

On June 20, 1934 she was married to Joseph Zunich and he preceded her in
death in August of 1977.

She was member of the St. Paul the Apostle Church.

She was preceded in death by her brothers: Frank, Rudolph and Fred and
sisters: Elizabeth and Rose.

Surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday June 28, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the St. Paul the Apostle Church in Calumet with Fr. Abraham Mupparathara to officiate.

Friends may call at the Church from 10-11:00 AM

Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery in Calumet.
