Jodi Vichich, RN, 41, of Ahmeek passed away Sunday afternoon ( Jan 2, 2005) at the Keweenaw Memorial Medical Center in Laurium shortly after being admitted
Jodi was born on May 12, 1963 in Hancock a daughter of Bernard and Dorothy (Kupari) Westerberg and as a child had attended the Lake Linden Schools, being a graduate of Lake Linden High School.
She received her RN Degree from Suomi College Nursing Program in Hancock and later worked for Calumet Public Hospital in Laurium. For 9 years she had worked for UPPCAP Services in Houghton and presently was employed with Portage Medical Group
She was married to Mark Vichich on June 30, 1990 in St. Paul the Apostle Church of Calumet.
She is preceded in death by
her father, Bernard in April of 2003
and her grandparents
She is a member of the Laurium Apostolic Lutheran Church of Laurium
She is survived by
her husband, Mark
is the loving mother of
son: Steven Mauno of Hubbell
and daughters Megan and Emily Vichich at home
her mother: Dorothy Westerberg of Hubbell

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 Thursday morning at the Laurium Apostolic Lutheran Church in Laurium
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 on Wednesday (Jan 5, 2005) at the Erickson Crowley Funeral Home of Calumet and one hour prior to funeral service on Thursday at the church.
