Calumet

Carl Rudolph Yoki, 84, life long area resident was pronounced dead on arrival early Sunday evening at the Calumet Hospital.

Mr. Yoki was born on June 26, 1902 in Calumet a son of Christian and Severine Yoki and had attended the local schools of the area and Calumet High School.

He was a driver for Calumet and Hecla Mining Company and later worked in the foundry until the closing of the mines in 1968.

He also goal tended the local Calumet Hockey team.

He was married to Helen Salmonson on May 2, 1925 in Calumet

He is a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Calumet

He is survived by

A daughter Lois (John) Hirvela of West Allis, WI
