Laurium
Isabelle L. Vichich, 74, of Laurium and former Calumet resident, passed away early Friday evening June 8, 2001 at the Keweenaw Memorial Medical Center of Laurium where she had been a patient for the past 5 days.
Isabelle was born on December 21, 1926 in Ahmeek a daughter of Henry & Lillian Beaudoin and had attended the Ahmeek schools.
She was married to Steven V. Vichich on November 11, 1944 in the Sacred Heart Chapel in Ahmeek.
Isabelle is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers; Wilbourd, Alfred, Alphonse, Raymond, Gilbert, and Laurence.
She is a member of Sacred Heart Church of Calumet.
Surviving are: her husband, Steve; 2 sons, Tom (Vicky) Vichich of Hancock; and Steve (Barbara Ann) Vichich of Laurium; 2 grandchildren, Kristin & Joseph Vichvich of Hancock; 2 step-grandsons, David & Kevin Sander of Houghton Lake, MI; 3 step-great grandchildren, Abby, Timothy, and Emily; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
