Condolence: Dear family of Joe...Dave and I are so saddened to learn of the passing of Joe. Can hardly believe it's true.
Having been away from the UP for so long, we've lost touch with Joe over the years but he has always been so dear to both our hearts.
He and Dave joined the Navy at same time and that was a special bond between the two of them always. I'd known Joe for many years as well. In the mid 80's, he bought the house my Dad owned, and I had lived in, on 10th. street. And, Joe stood up as Dave's best man at our wedding in 1984 (in that very same house). Yep, a very special friend to both of us, indeed.
Though the years and miles had separated us since then, he's always been such a very special part of our lives and we will treasure the memories forever.
So sorry for your loss. So sorry we aren't closer to gather with his family and friends. Just so sorry for this loss for all of us.
