Vanessa Jean Narhi went to rest in the arms of Jesus on Monday, June 2, 2014. Private services are planned to take place in the Liminga Cemetery in Stanton Township, MI.

Vanessa will be greatly missed by her parents, Brent and Carmen Narhi; her big sister, Tara; grandparents, William (Jean) Dunstan and Roy (the late Denise) Narhi all of Houghton, MI; great-grandparents, William (Aili) Dunstan and Sheldon (Eda) Narhi all of Houghton, and “Dick” (MaryAnn) Wuollet of Cokato, MN; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by grandmother, Denise and great-grandparents Wesley (Florence) Lasanen.

A seedling Lord, in Thy garden fair,
From birth, Thy wondrous creation;
Beneath my Father’s tender care,
I’ll reach eternal salvation.


The Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet is assisting the family with the arrangements.
