Charles “Chuck” Teates Jr., 64, of Mohawk passed away on January 24, 2015 at UP Health System Marquette.
Chuck was born on September 14, 1950 in Easton, PA a son of the late Charles Nellie (Zytkowicz) Teates Sr.
He was a veteran having served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
After the war he moved to Ahmeek to make his home. Locally he worked for Kauppi Oil Co., delivering oil for 15 years, and currently he was working in the paint department at Ace Hardware, in Calumet.
On October 2, 1981 he married his wife Barbara Olson.
Chuck loved his 5 dogs: Hannible, Clarice, Sasha, Lyra, and Beau.
He enjoyed the Green Bay Packers, gardening, and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church of Mohawk, and was a past member of the Allouez Twp. Fire Department.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister Amy Fasino.

Adam (Heather) Teates of Marquette
Grandchildren: Chase, Dryden, Contessa, and Evander
Sister: Joan (Ron) Bateman of Colorado Springs, CO
And numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins
A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held in the summer, and an announcement will be made at that time.
