Norman Dennis “Butch” Tauriainen passed away on December 5, 2015 at the VA Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Butch was born on March 19, 1947, the son of Clarence and Esther (Pyorala) Tauriainen.

He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Texas, during 1967 and 1968.

Butch was always interested in sports and was exceptional at sports trivia.

He was preceded in death by his father Clarence, sister Diane, and brother Donald.

He is survived by his mother Esther at Our Lady of Mercy Nursing Home in Hubbell, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Cremation has taken place and burial will be at the Waasa Cemetery in the spring of 2016.

Arrangements are being handled by the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home.
