Obituary for Mary Michele Koski (Poisson)

Mary Koski, age 58 a resident of Mohawk passed away on Tuesday June 28, 2016 peacefully at her home.

She was born on October 20, 1957 to Archie and Mary (Sullivan) Poisson in Hancock, Michigan.

She attended grade school in Dollar Bay, and at around age 12 her and her family moved up to Calumet, where she graduated from school in 1975.

Mary loved to be busy in the kitchen baking and cooking. She enjoyed watching her game shows; she could beat anyone on Jeopardy, and she could solve every puzzle on Wheel of Fortune.

She also loved to spend time in her flower gardens. She loved reading her books. She loved baseball. Her favorite team was the Atlanta Braves. Her love of baseball spread through her family.

On October 20, 1979 she married Dave Koski at the Bethany Lutheran Church in Mohawk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant brother David, infant sister Laura, her 2 aunts Tat and Nonie, and her Uncle Joe.

Friends may call at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday July 2, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday July 2, 2016 at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Hausman to officiate.
