Fay A. Kuitunen, 80, a resident of Laurium entered into eternal glory on Thursday, May 4, 2017.
She was born on August 3, 1936 in Allouez to Reuben and Ina (Soivio) Bammert.
Fay attended Calumet High School and graduated with the Class of 1953.
She was a gentle kindhearted person. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her.
On August 7, 1954, she was united in marriage to Waino Kuitunen Jr. in Detroit.
Together her and Waino were members of Faith Lutheran Church in Calumet, and the Finnish Center in Farmington Hills.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Ina Bammert, her husband, Waino Kuitunen Jr., 2 sons, Daniel Kuitunen and Kevin Kuitunen, her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth (Ken) Karpinen, and her brother and sister-in-law, Reuben (Jean) Bammert.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at Faith Lutheran Church in Calumet with Pastor Peter Vorhes to officiate. Friends may call at Faith Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 10:00 am until the start of the memorial service at 11:00 am.
