Obituary for Sarah Jean Teddy

Psalm 34:18
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

On June 3rd of 2017, Sarah Jean Teddy left this earth and entered into the Glorious Light of the Lord after struggling and losing a lengthy battle with personal health issues.

She leaves behind her four beloved children Alexis “Lexi”, Hailey, Hunter and Mallory McMahon. Her love for them is immeasurable and everlasting.

Sarah was a member of Saint Paul the Apostle Church in Calumet and brought her children in to the Catholic Faith. She taught them to be kind, loving, and non-judgmental of others.

Sarah was a graduate of Calumet High School with the class of 2000. She participated in cheerleading, golf, and skated with the Calumet Figure Skaters for many years.

On Aug 16th, 2003 she married Jeffrey McMahon and together they had the joy of raising their children for eleven years. They parted ways but remained friends and will be family forever. Sarah also had a special place in her heart for her brother-in-law Taylor.

Preceding her in death were her Mother-in-law Diane McMahon, Grandpa Newman, Grandpa Ronny, beloved Darren King and Aunty Ree.

Sarah also leaves behind many friends and family members who loved her and will remember her for her kindness, her beautiful smile, her ability to be late for everything, and her shenanigans. But mostly she will be remembered for her strength to work thru some very tough times that life had dealt her. Rest in Peace our beautiful Angel.

Surviving are her Parents Mike and Valerie Teddy, her sister Amy “Rose” Teddy, grandmothers Ann Newman and Elaine Teddy, and many loving aunts, uncles, beloved cousins and her very special life long friends, Tommy and Kyle.

“When love is lost, do not bow your head in sadness, instead keep your head up high and gaze into heaven for that is where your broken heart has been sent to heal.” – Author Unknown
