Elwood Olkkonen, 64, a resident of Covington passed away on Sunday June 16, 2019 at the Baraga County Memorial Hospital in L’Anse.
He was born on December 10, 1954 a son of the late Everett and Mabel (Lehtola) Olkkonen.
He graduated from Calumet High School with the class of 1973.
Locally he worked for Superior Crafts in Mohawk.
He is survived by his aunts Clara Kivela of Calumet and Gloria Korby of Fulton
And uncle Ernest Lehtola of Minnesota
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday June 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet with Pastor David Taivalkoski to officiate.
Friends may call at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet from 10-11:00 AM on Tuesday.
Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Ahmeek.
