Marcia Makolin, 87, a resident of Laurium passed away at her home on Saturday July 25, 2020.

She was born on August 21, 1932 in Laurium to John and Mary (Locatelli) Govednik.

She attended the local schools and graduated from Calumet High School with the Class of 1951.

On September 4, 1954, she was united in marriage to Clyde Makolin in Sacred Heart Church in Calumet.

She is survived by:
Her son: John (Carol) Makolin of Vero Beach, Florida
Her daughters: Mary (Dan) Heinonen of Calumet
Debra (Dennis) Schmidt of Kentwood, Michigan

7 grandchildren
9 great grandchildren

And several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet on Friday July 31, 2020 from 10:00 am until 10:45 am.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday July 31, 2020 at the Sacred Heart Church in Calumet with Father Gracious Pulimoottil to officiate. Burial will take place in the Lake View Cemetery.
