Obituary for William Warren Connell
William W. (Bill) Connell, 57, a resident of Gay passed away at his home on Friday evening December 11, 2020 following a year long battle with cancer.
He was born on June 1, 1963 in Orlando, Florida to Robert and Arlene (Dyer) Connell. He was raised in Florida and graduated from Colonial High School. He moved to the area in 2006 to live in Gay.
Bill never met a person he wouldn't call friend. He loved nature, music and fishing, whether he was fishing in Lake Superior, the Atlantic Ocean, or any lake in Florida. He also enjoyed cooking and barbequing for the family and parties. He spent many evenings watching the lake until after sunset. He also enjoyed sitting in his garage and welcoming people coming into Gay with a smile and a wave. Bill lived a full life and will be sadly missed by many.
On February 29,1992 he married Deneen Siira Reno in Florida.
He is survived by: His wife, Deneen of Gay
His son, JT (Sandra Loy) Reno of Gay
4 grandchildren: LE, Mattie, Greyson, Nevada
His mother: Arlene (Earl) Richardson of Florida
His brother: Bob Connell of Florida
Along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
