We are forever grateful & thankful to the many professional & compassionate people who helped along Dad’s health journey over many years - he often spoke fondly of each one during his life & expressed his gratitude for their care: Dr. Audrey Liston, The Veteran’s Administration, Dr. Mark Cowan, Dr. Thomas LeGalley, Dr. Joel Johnson, the “many miracles” at Marquette General, Dr. Jerry Luoma & Dr. Michael Luoma.
Raised in the Catholic faith & serving as an altar boy since a young age, he always was a man of Faith. We are eternally thankful for Father Joseph Gracious, Sacred Heart Church in Calumet & Father John, St. Ignatius Loyola Church in Houghton.
Local agencies that helped Dad navigate his last years include Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly & The Community Action Council of Houghton.
In his final days, he was happy to be under the care of Dr. David Kass, who we thank along with the staff at Portage Hospital, Portage Hospice & Canal View Rehab.
We extend the deepest respect & thanks to all the compassionate & caring staff at the Omega House of Houghton who helped us care for Dad in his final days as he journeyed HOME.
