Jonathan Ronald Eskola, 42, of Howell Michigan passed away unexpectedly at his home on August 24, 2022.

He was born October 13, 1979 in Laurium to Richard and Judith (Hermanson) Eskola.

He graduated from Calumet High School with the class of 1998. He worked for a time as a logger and a carpenter. He later went on to earn his degree as a registered nurse from Gogebic Community College.

Jonathan was a nurse providing care for the residents at The Willows Senior Living Community in Howell.

He was a member of the First Apostolic Lutheran Church in Howell.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A visitation for Jonathan will be held Thursday September 1, 2022 from 4-8 PM and one hour prior to the funeral on Friday at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church in Calumet, Michigan.

A funeral service will be held Friday September 2, 2022 at 11:00AM at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church in Calumet with Pastor Mark Halonen to officiate.

Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery.

The Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
