Obituary for Keith Moyle
Keith Moyle, age 60, a resident of Marquette, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at UP Health System Marquette.
Keith was born in Laurium, Michigan on February 2, 1962, to parents David and Mary Jane (Radtke) Moyle. He grew up in the Copper Country, with winters in Laurium and summers on Bootjack Road. He graduated from Calumet High School with the class of 1980. After High School, Keith went to Michigan Technological University where he studied electrical engineering. Keith graduated in 1985 and pursued a career working in the power distribution industry. He was a respected member of many community organizations through the years. While working in Green Bay he met his future wife, in 1991 Keith married the love of his life Rebecca Johnson. Keith and Rebecca started a family in 1999 when their son Justin was born.
Keith was a family man, a hockey fan, and a golfer among many things. He was always ready to help the people around him, always lending advice. His positive cheer and ability to strike up a conversation made him known and loved by so many. Keith was dedicated to his job, but always had time for his family, making all Justin’s hockey games and going on trips every chance there was. Keith was a Red Wings and Packer fan for life, rarely missing a game. He loved his dogs dearly and finding something around the house to fix was his pastime. He worked hard and played hard. His hard work was evidenced in his successful career, as well as the fact that when he was home or at the camp he spent much time on chores and leading the family in improvement projects. When it was time for fun, Keith was a great companion for family and friends on outings for golfing, skiing, water sports, social outings, etc. You could count on Keith to make it fun for whoever he was with. He will be missed dearly by all.
Keith is preceded in death by his parents David and Mary Jane (Radtke) Moyle. His sister in-law Patricia Johnson and nephew Patrick Walker.
Keith is survived by his loving wife and son Rebecca (Johnson) Moyle and Justin Moyle. His sisters Colleen (George) Thompson with children Derek and Andrea, and Kim (Gordon) Kendall with children William and Anna. Keith is further survived by sister-in-law Jean Walker with children Jim Walker, Dawn (Paul) Kapla, nephews Todd Kimball and Kenny (Mary) Kimball. Keith is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service for Keith Moyle will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 4 pm at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet, Michigan. Public visitation will be held from December 17, 2022, from 2pm- 4pm at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet, Michigan. A luncheon will be held following the funeral service in the Siskiwit Reception Hall next to the funeral home.
