Obituary for Daniel M Rogan
Lifelong resident of Osceola, Daniel M. Rogan, 56, passed away at home with his family by his side on February 24, 2023, following a courageous battle with cancer.
He attended Sacred Heart Catholic grade school, graduating from Calumet High School with the class of ‘86 and went to work for Bacco Construction Co. until retiring due to illness.
Dan married the love of his life, longtime partner, & high school sweetheart Angelique (Triplett) on June 15, 2021. Together they enjoyed fishing and spending time at their camp (Kukamonga) in Thayer’s Lake with their rescue dog Ellie. Dan was a dedicated deer hunter and looked forward to deer seasons with his brothers and good friends at Camp Suits Us in Misery Bay.
Preceding him in death were his parents Kevin and Ruth (Danula) Rogan of Osceola.
Surviving is his wife Angelique of Osceola, stepdaughters Samantha and Andrea of Redford, Michigan. Brothers, Kevin (Rhonda) Rogan of Ahmeek and James (Kathleen) Rogan of Ontonagon. Sisters, Mary (John) Fosness of Salo and Linda (Phil) Groft of Tucson, Arizona. Nieces and nephews, Patrick, Melinda, Kelly, Jaime, Jenifer, Deborah, and Philip. And numerous great nieces and nephews and one great great nephew.
A graveside service will take place in the spring at Waasa Cemetery in Salo. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
