Obituary for Mary Young

October 21, 1986 Mohawk
Mary Young, 88, of Mohawk, passed away early Tuesday morning at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility where she had been a patient for the past 4 days.
Mrs. Young was born on April 25, 1898 in Calumet a daughter of John & Agnes Stukel. She attended the local schools. She lived in the Copper Country for most of her life except from 1942 to 1958 when she made her home in Detroit.
On January 25, 1917, she married Willard Nordstrom. He preceded her in death in March of 1958. She later married Alex Young who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by:
A son, Frederick Nordstrom of Livonia;
2 grandsons, Willard & Frederick of Redford;
A brother, Anton Stukel of Lac La Belle;
Numerous nieces; nephews & cousins.
Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery of Calumet.
