Condolence: Dear Oren, Pat and Tom,
David and I hold you and all the extended Tikkanen family in our hearts at this time. We wish we could join in remembering Harold and in honoring his life today, but unfortunately we are not in the Copper Country just now. Even though we only knew Harold in his later years, the image of him dancing with "the red-headed girl" brings smiles - and a few tears - to us. We are very glad we had the opportunity to meet him. Condolences from Frankenmuth for the loss of your father. It was always such a pleasure and inspiration to us younger dancers to share the dance floor with him at the South Range Eagles.

Now he can dance again in heaven with Terry to the accordion music of the many departed Finnish musicians like Les Harkonen and the songs of Toni Tikkanen.

P.S.We always think of him fondly as Uncle Harry because of Karen Meneguzzo our cleaning lady in Laurium. We liked to tell her about seeing him dance at South Range.
