Carl A. Limback, 66, a resident of Laurium passed away at Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium on Friday May 20, 2016.
He was born on June 6, 1949 in Milwaukee a son of the late Alfred and Margaret ( Hull ) Limback.
Carl graduated from West Division High School in Milwaukee.
On January 17, 1970 he was married to the former Susan Hammond and she preceded him in death on May 14, 2000.
After school Carl enlisted in the U. S. Air Force serving in Vietnam.
He was a Lt. Col. in the Civil Air Patrol and was key in starting a squadron here in the Calumet area.
Carl worked as a metallurgist for Motor Casting Co. in West Allis, Wisconsin until he retired in the late 90s. In April of 2001 he moved to the Copper Country residing in Laurium.
He enjoyed playing the piano, playing in area senior citizens homes. He also enjoyed 4 wheeling, computers and gun collecting.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet with Pastor Tony Laidlaw to officiate.
Friends may call at the Erickson Crowley Peterson funeral home on Tuesday from 10 to 11 AM.
Burial will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield Wisconsin.
