We would like to offer our sympathies to your whole family. We have come to know your mother/grandmother over the past several months during our visits to Portage Pointe where Almor’s mom Joyce is also a resident. Early on Lydia often joined us sitting in the front vestibule area for nice impromptu group conversations where she told us about her family & years of teaching. She enjoyed talking to our daughter who is also a teacher. She told me her nickname was Lydia the “encyclopedia “ - cute. She was always so sweet and appreciative and we could see how much your visits meant to her and how much she loved you. As a nurse once told us when Almor’s dad passed, “no matter their age, health or circumstance-when a loved one passes, and especially a beloved parent, it is very sad and a loss felt by many”. So true. We will miss Lydia. With sincere sympathies The Penegor Family.
